Being completely disillusioned with the experience at a lot of wedding dress boutiques, I resigned myself to buying an online dress.
4 weeks before my wedding we were in Sydney, the day after my bachelorette party, and my sister insisted that we try a few more places- Helen was one of them.
Helen agreed to fit us in. When we arrived Helen and Roderick were welcoming and it was everything you’d dream of in a wedding dress shopping experience! The boutique is exquisite, there was no stress, and they REALLY listened! They put together 2 wedding dresses that looked exactly like what I dreamed of! Being 4 weeks before the wedding posed no obstacle to this dream team making the dress- they said they would have it ready with all the tweaks I wanted. I was concerned that it would cost a fortune to have my dream dress designed and made in 4 weeks, but their prices were comparable to off-the-rack dresses! And Helen was completely upfront about all costs- nothing hidden/extra. Needless to say, we canceled all the other appointments for the day!

At the first fitting (1 week before the wedding), I had lost a bit of weight- not a problem for this team! The following week I picked the dress up and it fitted perfectly! Helen spent so much time showing me how to walk/dance in the dress…. Showing my MOH how to tie the backup. And, because we had driven to Sydney that morning, Helen had considerately set up morning tea for us!

The dress was a dream- their professionalism and detailed work were out of this world. But what really sets Helen and Roderick apart is their warm, welcoming, accommodating, and considerate personalities. Every visit felt like visiting a favourite aunt who happened to be making my wedding dress! I can’t recommend them enough and will miss them!”
